Two Questions About the FBI and Trump

Here are facts we know. (1) In the months leading up to the 2016 election, the FBI was willing to ignore evidence that Hillary Clinton had mishandled (at the very least) classified information by setting up a separate server at her home and conducting State Department business over that unsecured system. (2) After the election, the FBI was willing to concoct “evidence” supporting the “Russia collusion” hoax in an attempt to damage the incoming Presidency of Donald Trump. (3) Immediately after Trump took office, the FBI was willing to entrap, disgrace and humiliate President Trump’s new National Security Advisor, General Michael Flynn, a man who had devoted his entire adult life to serving his country, again in an attempt to damage the Trump administration. (4) In the months just before the 2020 election, the FBI was willing to use paid informants to create a conspiracy to kidnap the governor of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, out of whole cloth, to entrap “right-wing extremists,” again in an attempt to manufacture a scandal to damage Trump’s re-election hopes. (5) Just weeks before the 2020 election, the FBI put pressure on social media companies to suppress what has turned out to be a true story about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which implicated the Democratic candidate, Joe Biden, in various corrupt schemes involving China and Ukraine. (6) The FBI was willing to use paid informants again to help instigate the entry of protesters into the Capitol building on January 6, 2021. (7) The FBI was willing to raid the home and office of a journalist, James O’Keefe of Project Veritas, because he had been approached with the diary of Ashley Biden, the President’s daughter, which appears now to have been verified as hers, and which recounts inappropriate sexual contact between the President and his then-very young daughter. (8) The FBI has now, in August 2022, in the run-up to a mid-term election where President Biden’s party is likely to lose the House, if not the Senate, seen fit to mount an unprecedented raid on the home of former President Trump, on the pretext that the President had “stolen” vital “classified” documents, although the law is very clear that a President, while in office (which Trump, of course, was until noon on January 20, 2021), has plenary power to classify or declassify any and all Executive Branch documents.

Here’s the obvious question… If they were willing to do all that, if they were willing to stretch what used to be naively called "democratic norms" that far, what weren’t they willing to do? What evidence is there that the FBI – the “Deep State” – ever drew any lines between what they were willing to do to keep Trump from gaining the Presidency in 2016, from succeeding as President, from winning re-election in 2020, and from seeking the Presidency again in 2024, and what they (somehow amazingly) were morally unwilling to do?

And, once you’ve honestly answered that threshold question – they were obviously willing to do whatever it took to keep Trump out of the White House, up to and including stopping counting votes in key swing states until they could miraculously overnight "find" enough votes to declare Biden the winner – ask yourself the obvious follow-up… why?

What was so dangerous about Trump that the powers-that-be couldn’t allow him to stay in office? What did he know? What was he going to expose? Trump is a great disruptor, granted. What was it that a Donald Trump Presidency was going to disrupt?
